Stallone to receive lifetime achievement honour

Action superstar Sylvester Stallone to be honored for his contribution to the film industry for the next Hollywood Film Festival in Los Angeles.

The Rambo star is to receive an annual award for career celebration to be held in Beverly Hills October 20 reports contactmusic.com.

Organizers will also pay tribute to Sean Penn for her charity work, while Morgan Freeman will be celebrated for its contribution to technological innovation through the revelations of entertainment.

Filmmaker Tom Hooper will also receive an award for direction in the event.
